A prominent venture capital firm that invests in late stage startups is looking to add a staff accountant to their team. This position is open due to growth and the Staff Accountant will join a dynamic, fast moving team that has invested in some of the fastest growing startups over the past decade. As a Staff Accountant, you will be able to learn and grow in your career with some of the most respectable VC experts in Bay Area, all the while receiving a competitive pay package and excellent benefits. Other duties will include:
- Entering journal entries into Intacct
- Reconcile monthly balance sheets
- Expense report audits
- Perform GL and reconciliation duties as required

Requirements

Skills: 
- 2+ years of accounting experience (tax candidates will be considered if there is demonstrated VC experience)
- Experience with Intacct and Workiva
- Experience investing large data sets
